I spent four years as the Chief of the Child and Family Clinic at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany where I developed school-based behavioral health programs at several Department of Defense Schools. Here in Colorado, I spent six years as the Chief of the Child and Family Behavior Health Service at Fort Carson where I led a team of more than twenty staff in a variety of disciplines providing outpatient care for military children and families, and establishing school-based behavioral health programs at five local schools serving military families. My team included child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. I have successfully treated thousands of children as a Child Psychiatrist. I retired in May 2021 from 24 years of Active Duty service in the Army Medical Corps as a Psychiatrist with multiple deployments to Iraq and other locations in the Middle East. I have lived in Colorado Springs since 2010.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy working with people of all ages and specialize in child and adolescent patients. I perform comprehensive evaluations that encompass developmental, social and medical factors. I take each individual’s background and unique life circumstance to create a treatment plan. I collaborate closely with my patients to increase fulfillment and meaning in their lives. In treating children and adolescents, I see myself as a partner with parents to move development forward.
