Here in Colorado, I spent six years as the Chief of the Child and Family Behavior Health Service at Fort Carson where I led a team of more than twenty staff in a variety of disciplines providing outpatient care for military children and families, and establishing school-based behavioral health programs at five local schools serving military families. My team included child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. I have successfully treated thousands of children as a Child Psychiatrist. I retired in May 2021 from 24 years of Active Duty service in the Army Medical Corps as a Psychiatrist with multiple deployments to Iraq and other locations in the Middle East.
